Case in point… this stretch linen blazer and pants. It may look like a suit because they match perfectly, but the blazer and pants are sold separately. This is a huge plus since few of us wear the same size on top as the bottom. I often need a petite on the bottom but not always on the top. Pairing linen pants with a cotton tee and a classic jean jacket is a fresh combination that feels right for my suburban lifestyle. The jean jacket’s rugged texture contrasts beautifully with the light, airy linen, creating visual depth and striking a balance between casual and polished. I added the floral cardigan because it’s the perfect length to cover the wide stretch waistband and gives it a polished look. The shorter blazer length and cut-away front are perfect for the fuller leg of the flare jeans. I wore nude sandals, but you could also add loafers or sneakers to dress this look down even more.

This shorter linen blazer would easily layer over a summer tee dress or look terrific with a pair of these chino shorts with some suede espadrilles or the new trending woven flats.
